Super markets are relatively new in India taking into account that newyork had its first super market in August 4, 1930 to be precise. Though new there are several studies and criticism that these business houses are going through. There are these agitations against super markets and the social change disaster it could possibly bring. Then again there are people who believe that it will eat the small retailers.
